Getaria’s mouse


The small mountain and peninsula San Anton, just north of the village Getaria, is sometimes called “the mouse of Getaria” due to its characteristic shape. You can get a good view of it from the neighbouring town Zarautz, where you can also see it in many murals, for example this one at a schoolyard:


This one in a residential building a few streets from the beach:


Here on the wall inside the awesome surf bar Shelter at the eastern end of the seafront promenade:


And here it is in a detail from a painted tunnel:


The whole tunnel painting looks like this, with a Volkswagen and the Spanglish line toda la party. It is on the opposite side of the painted tree landscape featured at the end of this entry.
