To be honest, all wall paintings in the Basque Country aren’t as grand as the ones we’ve seen this far. Many aren’t much to brag about, and examples of that could be found on these poor frontons:
No finesse at all. To quote the Irn Bru ad; “if it’s not Scottish, it’s crap”, and this is definitely not Scottish.
Furthermore, it doesn’t encorage what the frontons are really meant for, namely playing pelota. Or jai alai or zesta punta – there are plenty of versions. You can keep yourself updated on the classic Basque pelota and watch live games at Euskal Telebista.
